We are The Senator Group, and for 45 years, we have existed to be independent
This may sound minor, but independence means we’ve been able to grow sustainably, independence means we’ve been able to create long-term partnerships, independence means we’ve been able to create the products we want but more importantly, it means we can invest in people, projects, and community we want.
The way a product works can make life better than it was before it existed. Every piece of furniture we create is designed with this in mind.
— We work with the world’s top designers
— We’re inspired by everything, we identify trends and we set them
— We have complete control at every stage
— We have an extensive portfolio, in addition to customised designs
— We have the ability to adapt our products to any required specification and because of this, on average 30% of our products each year are classed as specials.
From the outset, we’ve believed in the wisdom of retaining complete control of quality at every stage of production.
Rather than outsource manufacturing and face the inevitable compromises of oversight and agility that entails, we’ve continued to invest in highly capable and adaptable production technology. Trusting everything to our own skilled people and keeping our own technology cutting edge is The Senator Group's secret to quality.
Globally, we own more than 1.25 million square feet of manufacturing space. Owning all of our end-to-end processes, we have the unlimited flexibility to ramp up production from a run rate of 40% to 24/7/365 operations across our factories in the UK, USA, and China.

We are an ISO:9001 accredited organisation, which means our quality processes are externally and independently verified across all aspects of our business.
Quality is at the heart of our design process and is a feature of our products on which we never compromise. From the raw materials and componentry we select, to the very latest technology we use, and from the highly skilled people we employ to the innovative outlook we take to research and development, the quality of our products is outstanding.
During manufacturing, we conduct more than 100 compliance checks and can trace manufacturing back to individuals for quality assurance purposes.
So confident are we in the quality of our products that we offer industry-leading warranties to give ultimate assurance to our clients.
Just as our products provide outstanding quality, so too do the services we offer.
We treat clients as members of our extended family. On a daily basis, we are determined to give the very best service, with our after-sales function being subjected to rigorous internal and external audits on an annual basis.
Our design teams, our installation teams, and our program managers all have client satisfaction as their priority, and they are routinely called upon to demonstrate the quality of their processes to our auditors.
As an ISO14001 business, we have a long history of visionary thinking in terms of the sustainability of our products and services. In 2009, we invested heavily in developing our own, in-house recycling business Sustain™.
We have a very strong focus on carbon neutrality, having publicly pledged to achieve carbon net-zero via ‘Pledge to Net Zero’: https://www.pledgetonetzero.org
We’re also working hard on achieving whole lifecycle carbon reductions, making sure that at every stage of a product’s lifespan, it has minimal negative impact on the environment.
We don’t just design spaces, we design solutions for our clients, helping to create environments to engage and inspire; to provide comfort and focus; and, to drive innovation. Our Settings TM design principles enable us to work consultatively with our clients to create agile, dynamic, creative spaces that suit their specific needs.
We don’t just talk the talk, we walk the walk. Our own office spaces are living showrooms that model how best agile working spaces can be utilised, and what great places they are to work.
