The Role:

• Lead team of design and development engineers to produce innovative solutions in line with project time frame.
• Oversee the design and development life cycle, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope and budget to the highest quality standards.
• Ensure project gateways/milestones are adhered to and update in line with ISO standards providing weekly project updates to senior management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality, production, marketing and sales, to ensure projects are delivered in line with business objectives. 
• Responsible for all new product data and introduction of that data to the business.
• Provide support in the setting of policies and product introduction.
• Product sector gate keep for the life of the product.

The Person:

• Project management experience, prioritising and managing multiple projects simultaneously and deliver to agreed deadlines.
• Proven experience in a leadership role.
• Background in engineering, manufacturing and /or product development.
• Ability to identify and mitigate risk and challenges.
• Strong organisation and planning skills with a high attention to detail.
• Strong numeracy skills.
• Effective communicator with clients, stakeholders and team members.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
• Proficient user of MS Office (particularly Excel).
