Our ESG Strategy

We have been committed to implementing projects that have a long term, positive outcome on the world, for over 40 years, long before it was fashionable or expected to do so. 

Our ESG commitments are near term, measurable and scalable, to ensure we deliver a consistent approach across the whole Group. We have 46 objectives which allows us to focus our efforts and hold us accountable in delivering our long-term targets. 

Our ESG Strategy is grouped into three areas. 

Out of our 46 objectives, our pledge to Net Zero is just one. 
Many businesses focus solely on sustainability, without looking at social impact. To us, the welfare of our own people, those throughout our supply chain, and the communities surrounding our premises are just as important as taking care of the environment.

Our ESG Steering Group provides strategic leadership for the implementation and delivery of the company's sustainability plan. 

The Steering Group has the responsibility for defining the overarching vision, as well as setting the short and long-term objectives and holding project teams to account for their progress reporting and delivery.

The Senator Group has been officially recognised for its unwavering commitment to ESG. It was crowned 'Green Business of the Year' in the 2023 BIBAs, and in 2024 won in the ESG category of the Red Rose Awards.
