Children enjoyed free access to the show’s fairground rides, along with complimentary ice cream, hot dogs, candy floss, and waffles. For the adults, there was an unlimited free bar and food provided by Mytton Fold Hotel, our sister company.
In addition to the many attractions The Royal Lancashire Agricultural Show had to offer, Senator staff enjoyed extra entertainment, including a live dinosaur display and a rodeo bucking bronco.
After the show had closed to the public, the over-18s returned for an office party like no other - with Jordan North on the decks. Once again, a free bar flowed through the night - but this time, it was served by our company directors.
Guests were treated to neon face paint, glow sticks, and 9-foot entertainers on stilts who stole the spotlight. Mytton Fold Hotel continued the exclusive catering, serving delicious Singapore-inspired food.
The Senator Group and The Royal Lancashire Agricultural Show share a chairman - Colin Mustoe MBE, who founded our company back in 1976. Colin is also the driving force behind the Show and generously allows the event to take place at his home, Salesbury Hall in Ribchester.
Each year, more than 20,000 visitors flock to the oldest agricultural show in the country to see horse parades, animal shows, military and fire brigade demonstrations, and fairground rides. They also browse the many craft, lifestyle, and food stalls, showcasing the best of what Lancashire has to offer.
